What remains of our travels is more than just the pictures we've made.
At every place we have been hiding the fun and comfort of our imagination. This image is one of a virtual travel report through the landscape of the inner experience.
The starting point is a concrete location, in the immediate vicinity or further away. The moment I was there was sometimes insignificant but afterwards a gateway to another world.
With a combination of photography, compositing techniques, drawing and painting, I put in my work a relationship between the photographic perception and the inner perception.
