With modern photographic technique the posed portrait gets a new dimension. By using digital photography and digital image editing, I make images with the same care as the painter's. In a way that was unthinkable in the past. Every picture element contributes something to the story that has to be told, and all the surplus is omitted. Just like you do with painting, but with pixels.
